Honda Civic Lx Engine and Performance

Even though Honda has completely rethought every other aspect of the new Civic, the company has opted to keep the same engine options that were available in the previous version of the car. A 2.0-liter engine producing 158 horsepower is standard equipment for the Lx sedan. The front-wheel-drive model is the only one that will be available for the new Civic. It is unfortunate that the manual gearbox option available on the previous generation Civic Lx sedan has been eliminated for 2022, leaving just a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) as the only available transmission choice.

The dashboard of the 2022 Civic Lx has a full-width honeycomb-patterned mesh design element that deftly conceals the air vents, ushering in a new, more streamlined interior design that makes its debut. The lines within the vehicle are also cleaner. A larger centre console appears to have less clutter than the one seen in the previous model, and it contains what appears to be a huge and deep bin located in front of the shift lever. This bin may be used to store items like as cellphones, keys, and food for long car trips. According to Honda, the amount of room available for passengers is about comparable to what is also provided, and the amount of space in the trunk is more.
