The all-new 2022 Honda Civic Sport: Perfect in performance and price
The Honda Civic 2022 maintains its position as the benchmark for small cars. The Civic is really well-rounded and just enjoyable to drive. It provides a lot of automobiles for not a lot of money. It’s also less than $25,000 in the case of this Civic Sport.
The 2022 Civic Sport gets excellent marks for its capable on-road handling, large and tastefully fitted cabin, high level of standard electronics, and appealing styling — all for less than $25,000.
CIVIC SPORT 2022 SPACE
Front-seat passengers will have plenty of head- and legroom, and the Civic’s low beltline, large windshield, and thin pillars (a welcome feature from earlier Hondas) provide good outward sight. There’s enough room in the back, with big enough door openings to make getting in and out of the vehicle a breeze and everyone’s luggage will fit just fine in the 14.8-cubic-foot trunk, but it won’t disappoint you if you’re concerned about cargo capacity.

INTERIOR
The Sport is really attractive on the inside, thanks to the new Civic’s simple interior design. The vent controls have a wonderful weight to them and click into a central position, and the air vents are neatly hidden by the mesh insert that runs the length of the dash. The steering wheel controls are simple to use while driving, and the center console buttons are organized neatly and logically. This isn’t an interior that will wow you with flashy details, but it’s built to last, with a focus on comfort and convenience rather than blatant sparkle and glamour.
CIVIC SPORT 2022 FEATURES
- Wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are included, even if they appear a little small on the 7-inch display.
- The Civic Touring’s bigger 9-inch screen, as well as its wireless smartphone connection, aren’t available.
- Honda’s snazzy new 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is also unavailable, however, the LX, Sport, and EX trims do offer a 7-inch left-side screen in the instrument panel that defaults to a tachometer but may display a variety of useful data.
