At the North American launch, Kia displayed a bigger base engine. The 2.5-liter inline-4 engine will produce 187 horsepower, compared to 181 horsepower in the previous generation.
The 2023 Sportage PHEV comes in two X-Line grades and standard all-wheel drive. It is powered by a 1.6-liter turbo-4 with 177 horsepower and a 66.9-kw electric motor, with a 13.8-kWh lithium polymer battery.
